Halitosis (Bad Breath)

Persistent bad breath. In most cases, halitosis originates in the mouth from volatile sulfur compounds produced by bacteria that colonise the tongue, gums, and spaces between teeth. Causes include poor oral hygiene, gum disease, dry mouth, and certain foods. Less commonly, it originates in the sinuses, lungs, or digestive system.
